Salvador's BDAY MONTH!

Some of my favorite painters include famous mustache painter  Salvador Dali.
Well known for painting, photography, drawing, sculpting, film, jewelry.

Let me briefly provide some info. about this creative genius!
Dali was born in Spain in 1904. The reason why i decided to post Dali is because 

he was born in MAY! He died at the age of 84 in 1989.

Till this day Salvador's painting is still being celebrated and is well known.

I remember going to the famous HIGH MUSEUM located in Atlanta a couple years ago
 to see his exhibit. IT WAS SOOO BOMB! 

I remember staring at one of my favorite painting of his which was "In Voluptas Mors".

I absolutely love this painting.

One of Salvador Dali's most expensive painting was
"PORTRAIT OF PAUL"
IT WAS SOLD FOR $22.4 MILLION!






FUN FACTS ABOUT DALI

• 1. He believed he was a reincarnation of his dead brother.
   which was also named Salvador and he died 9 months before Dali was born.
• 2. He started painting as a young child.
  3. Dalí met his future wife Elena Ivanovna Diakonova, known as Gala, while she was married to his friend the artist Paul Éluard.
  4.He adopted Babou in the 1960s, and brought him everywhere with him including restaurants.
